I just love my Moleskine sketchbook but i spend way to much time drawing in it. Not that i have a better way of spending my time with drawing ;-)

Futuristic City with a classic touch :-) Next one is with reference i promise. Reference is the key for a more realistic look even if the final picture is stylized. :-)

This is a Landscape i made today. It´s a under drawing in Pencil and i added a little color in Gimp because my Photoshop expired. I wanted i to like like it´s right out a a old Book of some kind. It took me 3 hours to make it and i´m really happy i did :-)

So this is a photo of a inked drawing in my Moleskin sketchbook. I love this book ::-) and i´m happy with the Picture. I will try to color it to. but i´m not sure when. The composition on this one is a little bit messy. There is always something to improve on. To get a better feeling of composition i will do some studies in B/W and Color.

The World of Ulu. quik sketch

So there the thing. Too let a character work i think the world where he or she lives in has to be defined. Ulu lives in a Jungle that used to be a big city ages ago. There are giant Mushrooms and big craters everywhere.
My level of drawing doesn't permit me to draw precisely what i see in my mind. So i have to sketch my way to gain more expertise.

A newer version of Ulu. I made him bigger this time. I'm trying to find a form that i like to do some finished Illustrations. Ulu's story will evolve but i'm not sure how..

But the world where Ulu and Saai live changed more than a bit. Giant mushrooms pop out of the ground and Ulu swears he heard them talk. Like a whisper in the wind he mumbled. From that moment on Ulu saw them as friends. Saai just doesn't care about mushrooms at all.

So this is Ulu he is an postapocalyptic Caveman He is the laziest caveman ever to come in existence and hunts only for caned food. Because he is one of the last survivors (outside the new gigantic City of New York witch he isn't aware of..) there is enough Cans to choose from. His best friend is also one of his kind. This the artificial Intelligence of the last automatic Atomic Bombs. His name S.A.A.I. (S.elf A.ware A.rtifical I.ntelligence) His mission, destroy New York.

But that was over a century ago. Everything is well. Until a danger emerges on the horizon the new and improved Humans...
